Our Adventure in Laguna

Today we decided that we had to spend the afternoon at the beach and take advantage of this beautiful weather we are having in February. We had a great time, and it was definitely an adventure. It started with a fun ride in the car with me sweet silly boys!

The beach was warm, sunny and beautiful, like always! But the waves were HUGE!

Megan, Drew, my mom and Bran and Lace were there too. Drew is kissing his baby brother Haiden.....so sweet.
From the storms we had recently had, lots and lots of sand had been washed away. Exposing tons of new rocks and even caves that we had never even seen before, we decided to go for a walk and this is where our adventure got really fun!
One by one the boys and Ry and Bran crawled through this maybe 2ft high tunnel to get through to the beach on the other side.
While my mom, my sister (8 1/2 months pregnant) and Lacey decide that was are going to time the giant waves just right and make it around and through the rocks.

We all make it safely over and under and through. There are lots more caves and tunnels and tide pools up ahead.
Reid and Drew with a big starfish!

We come to a giant cave, the swell is really bug and the tide is coming up, we decided to not go in and just hang out in front for a while. The kids played and Grady buried his feet!

We were all having a great time! I look up and see this huge wave coming in and say," Ry a huge wave is coming. "We all kinda scrambled grabbed the kids grabbed each other. We ended up soaking wet up to our waists pinned against the cliff. Luckily only one more big wave was in that set and we could quickly get out. A few of us were laughing, a few of us were mad, a few of us were pointing fingers. But all in all it was fun! We were all safe and we all had a great time making great memories! And that is what is most important.

And to end our adventure with a beautiful sunset like this made it even better!
